Goodman Contractors has contributed all the earth works for the project to a value of over $30,000.
Goodman Contractors CE, Stan Goodman says the company was pleased to be able to substantially contribute to what will be an iconic venue for the Kapiti region.
“We are a family business and have always had a focus on supporting young people in the region and creating opportunities for them.    Creating a resource such at this Performing Arts Centre on the Kapiti Coast will make this a desirable place for young people and those involved in the Performing Arts.”
“Having a resource of this calibre will be an asset for the whole community as, because of it, we will not only be able to enjoy the high standard of arts in this region but also attract acts from other parts of the country and possibly overseas.”
Kapiti College Board of Trustees Chair Jennie Gutry welcomed the significant contribution from Goodman Contractors.
“It was the community that asked for us to build a Performing Arts Centre suitable for the needs of the whole region, and we are grateful to Goodman Contractors for recognising the importance of everyone in the community needing to get behind this exciting project. ‘_1340793
